How much does a composite deck cost?
It depends on the size, height, ground conditions and which Trex range you choose. Send a photo and rough measurements and Ellis will give you a rough price before arranging a visit.
Do I need planning permission?
Most garden decks don't. As a general rule, a deck raised more than 30cm off the ground usually needs planning permission. Ellis will flag it at the design stage if yours might. Read the full planning guide.
Can you build on a sloped garden?
Yes. Slopes are where a well built subframe matters most. Ellis plans the levels and steps first, and can produce a detailed 3D design render as an optional extra so you can see exactly how it will sit.
Is Trex worth it over timber?
Trex won't rot, splinter or need staining, and it's backed by a 25 to 50 year warranty depending on the range. It costs more up front, and pays that back in years of no maintenance.
Can you replace my old timber deck?

What does the Trex warranty cover?
Trex boards come with a 25 to 50 year limited residential warranty depending on the range, covering the boards against material defects, fading and staining. Ellis talks you through the exact cover for the range you choose.
